F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Short Story, â€Å"Winter Dreams† In F. Scott Fitzgerald’s short story, â€Å"Winter Dreams,† aspiring, â€Å"desirous† Dexter stands at the limit between appreciating â€Å"glittering things† and discovering that the â€Å"glittering things† he respects blur away at some point or another. Dexter‘s character all through this short story, changes from various perspectives, from being unconscious of what he truly needed in life to monitoring what he really became.      Dexter in the story began as a little fellow who filled in as a caddy at a green. There he met Miss Jones for the absolute first time. Judy Jones was a wonderful, young lady who originated from a glittery family, but at the same time was extremely tricky with her â€Å"preposterous smile† . Dexter was very â€Å"neurasthenic† when it came to being with Miss Jones. First and foremost Dexter would be extremely timid however would consistently need to converse with her. She was the â€Å"no end of wretchedness to an extraordinary number of men.†      As time slips by in the story, Dexter turns into a free man yet at the same time considers Judy. He turns out to be a lot more seasoned and starts running clothing organizations. He turned into a man that individuals would call â€Å"Now there’s a boy.† Even however the individuals who realized him would say that regarding him, he still didn’t feel that â€Å"tremendous superiority.† He felt â€Å"mundane† as though he truly had not accomplished anything.
